The conference will centre around the North Seas Energy Cooperation and how industry and governments can unleash the potential for offshore wind in the North Seas through innovative approaches and regional perspectives on harvesting the wind resource.

Offshore wind is key to delivery of Europe’s decarbonization target.

The offshore wind industry will continue to deliver on the cost reduction of offshore wind energy, offering a large scale and cost-efficient source of renewable electricity. While developing Silicon Valley for offshore wind in the North Seas is doable when looking at the supply chain, to achieve it in due time and with the least cost to consumers a changed mind-set is required. This is in particular the case when it comes to allocation of sites as well as an innovative approach to grid.
